On April 18, SoulSpectrum had the privilege of collaborating with Mona, a highly dedicated transgender individual, who operates a tea stall in the vicinity of Elantè Mall Area in Chandigarh.

She was doing good with her business until things took a toll for the unexpected: She fell severely ill, exhausting all her earnings on medical treatment.
Now, she had no money to run the tea business and was unable to purchase necessary consumer goods demanded by her local clientele.
This is where we at SoulSpectrum came to help.
SoulSpectrum actively worked with Mona and listened to her story, after which the founder, core team members and the volunteers brainstormed solutions to aid her.
The solutions included helping Mona get access to trade credit, with the help of which she could purchase consumer goods at a credit and make payments for the same later. This would help Mona relaunch her business without immediate financial burdens.
Additionally, SoulSpectrum also decided a couple goods that had the highest demand in the local area and advised Mona to keep such goods.
Last but not the least, Ishnoor Singh (Founder) donated some of his profits from his sneaker brand business "Sneakery" to Mona so that she could start again from a better position. Other volunteers also made donations, further bolstering Mona's prospects.
impactful and inspiring journey. kudos to soulspectrum !!
